I too became aware of Abraham & Co in the '80s and appreciate their never-ending quest/ability to present new illustrations with a goal to clarify our magnificent journey. When I first heard them speak in terms of "vortex's" I had trouble with the imagery. So, I simplified it and replaced "vortex" with "spiral" - my awareness was more accepting of the spiral...it seemed more graceful, and objective whereas the vortex seemed more aggressive to my way of thought. Using the spiral analogy....in the Flow we can see ourselves at the center of a gentle spiral, and see each revolution surrounding us....available to us - each ringlett touchable and totally accessible - no matter how far that stream of consciousness has expanded - we can still access it from our center position. I've since grown into the vortex-concept...and now get totally jazzed about the vortex imagery. I've come to understand this concept is particularly (moreso than the spiral anaolgy) powerful in demonstrating the amplification of the law of attraction (sucking in like vibration). For me you brought up a very important piece which has to do with if something isn't happening it may not mean something is wrong it may be a signal that there are other things occuring within one's soul that have a greater need than the strong desire. I once heard or read that the soul will always get what it is needing, not the ego. Summer, thank you so much for your blog. I think it is important for those who tend to turn on themself or think they are all wrong, self judge when what ABE or others say would be happening if your thinking is aligned and your doing everything "right", when it is not happening, doesn't mean it is you! Promises, agreements and many things we may not be aware of are always in operation. What is happening is what is happening and it will be different when it is, at the perfect time.
